Original Description:

Sonic must stay upright and avoid all the pits and chasms to complete each level. Points are earned every time a ring is grabbed or a trick is performed. You can usually only pull off a flip after you've gathered enough speed and hit a rampy part of the terrain. Be on the look out for red arrows as they will give you a boost.
