If you don't know about the adventures of Space Tree the Space Tree in SPACE yet, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!?
Magnum opus of the twisted mind of animator and comic artist Ed Atlin; Space Tree is one of my fave webtoons. It's so indy with it's 'anything goes' storyline, quirky characters and Ed's rough drawing, yet somehow smooth animation style. Over the course of sixty+ episodes (yeah! *sixty!*) The titular hero goes from starship captain to teacher to bar owner to galactic president to dead to back alive again and eventually to the end of known existence and beyond. -oh yeah!
Every episode is delightfully stupid but the pieces create a whole that Mitch Hurwitz can only dream about.
And if you know who Mitch Hurwitz is, then congratulations! -You're already hooked!
