Owls swallow their prey whole, but can only digest the soft parts of the prey animal's body. The bones, feathers and fur are coughed up as pellets.These pellets are easy and interesting to take apart.

You might find bones from small rodents & birds, rabbits, gophers- whatever animals the owl ate!
