Original Description:
Instructions: adjust directional bouncing pads by clicking them to rotate. The red colored edge points the ball in its direction. Press the play button to start the ball on its musical journey. Adjust the slider to change the ball's elasticity, hence the musical tempo. For a more emergent experience, you can rotate the pads as the ball plays.
Keyboard Shortcuts:
[space] to clear the board
[enter] to play
'r' to randomise
Concept: A non-linear musical system whose visual scoring language is meant to be ample representation of the musical outcome -- the iconography equaling its function. A small ball bounces from pad to pad causing the pad to make a noise assigned to its rotation. Since the hexagonal shapes have a finite set of six rotational states, a pallete of six notes in a pentatonic scale are used.
