I don't think I give enough appreciation to *https://king-cheetah.deviantart.com/. I really don't. Here he is, putting up massive handfuls of gorgeous pin-up styled work, masterfully exhibiting the cheeky and playful nature and mannerisms of the traditional retro exhibition of the primal psyche, and the only time I comment on his work is to beg him the privilege to throw some hues on his lines. I've got to be a much better watcher, like seriously.
This isn't the first time I've done color work for *https://king-cheetah.deviantart.com/, though. I traditionally did every color job for him in Flash, adding some subtle element of animation or interactivity to it. The tradition continues, where after a major hiatus from coloring his work and coloring in Flash, I return to both source and medium. I've still used Flash for a lot of other things, but coloring lines...not near as much.
When I saw these lines, I really enjoyed the amount of personality presented within it. When *https://stephenrsjr.deviantart.com/ chose *https://king-cheetah.deviantart.com/ to do his commission, I don't think he could have picked a better person for what he had in mind.
