Original Description:
My Ludum Dare 27 entry. Fun fact: if you spend most of your 48 hours thinking about beholders and messing about with programming experiments, but only 1-2 hours working on the actual -game-, uh... you may well be doing it wrong.
The result is, the actual game is stinky, but I admit I'm proud of my beholder. The concept here is 'You were supposed to stop the summoning of Ulgoroth, the Beholder-god, just in the nick of time. But your wizard's watch runs slow, so you're 10 seconds too late. Now he's eating everyone and your job is to help him digest everyone well.'
In practice, all that happens is you click on enemies to digest them, or let your little stomach acid minions do the job. Also, swipe your mouse over bubbles to pop them. Honest to God? This ain't good as it stands. But, on the other hand - look at that beautiful beholder!
