Kerrigan’s been down in the basement for days, working those brain muscles coming up with brilliant and innovative inventions to make her famous. Meanwhile, Ark has his own cylinder shaped problems to deal with. Introduces two new supporting characters that will develop more in future episodes.

This is the first A&K movie I made where I actually had a script, and unlike the previous cartoons it had a set direction on the story. There really is not a lot to say about it other than I introduced Senya and Sal, 2 characters from my sci-fi story.
Sadly this movie was one of the last totally original flash cartoons I did for a good while. (aside from some shorts) Many times I considered making A&K into a comic, but for some reason that never fully appealed to me. I think there just is something about seeing it animated and with voice that makes it special. At the time that I’m writing this I plan on making more A&K related flash, because I feel I’ve put them aside for too long.
Fun Fact: The song used during Kerrigan’s montage is “Science Genius Girl” by the band Freezepop. I heard it in the music game Frequency. A couple months after I released the movie I received a e-mail from the band itself saying it was cool that a popular flash movie had their song in it, and they requested a link to their webpage at the end. I felt bad for not crediting them in the first place, I guess I just didn’t think about it.
