Original Description:
I JUST CAN'T BLOODY BELIEVE IT!
I always tell myself to never draw things in Manga style, let alone animate it, due to me disliking the majority of these Jap style... But what is this?!? Now I really question my credibility...
You might know that I'm working on the HTF version animation for Sweet Lullaby. But someway through the process, I've developed a want to animate Sweet Lullaby in the creator's original style. A little encouragement from:icondrwho-david-morrisey: and :iconlike-a-g-six: kinda even pushes that aspiration even more. So I decided to take a jump into it and practice bit by bit so that my ability can be up to the task If I suddenly really got the want to animate it in Their style... And if that time come, I'll work on both versions in tandem.
Oh well... Just a little animation of Flippy trotting on the horse in Shivita's style (page 26, chapter 4), with a little modification to ease the process of animating. Maybe I'll try Alice's style in the future and compare to see which is more convenient to animate. Talking about being pragmatic :|
How complex is this? Well, just twice the number of layers that's all :) (took me 1.5 hours to set up Flippy's database and the horse and animate it. Good thing I've practiced with those limbs before ;)) Not as complex as it seems. But when it come to full scale ones... I doubt I'm up to the task :(
Lack of detail is intended as I try to time myself working at this.
I had a real (and when I say REAL, I totally mean it!!!) struggle with attempting to draw the characters as close as Shivita's style as I have totally NO experience with these style of animations (Oh for Pete's sake... Alice's style in MUCH more complicated, especially for the eyes)
Alright... And as for now, I proudly declare that I suck at animating horses...
I'll try Alice's style sometime later using the same scene :)
